The Yerington Paiute Tribal Health Clinic supports the health and well-being of all people in our area. We provide medical care, health education, and wellness services rooted in cultural respect and community values. Our staff is dedicated to creating a safe, friendly place where every patient feels valued. We proudly serve Native and non-Native community members of all ages.

Medical services in an ambulatory setting - routine check-ups, preventative care, and management of chronic conditions.

Dental care to support your overall health and wellness.

Behavioral health services that support mental and emotional well-being.
Pharmacy
On-site pharmacy providing prescription services to maintain your care.

If you are a new patient, please bring the following to your first appointment:
- Tribal Enrollment Documentation
- Photo Identification
- Insurance Cards (If Applicable)
- List of Current Medications
- Medical Records from previous providers
Our staff will help you complete any necessary paperwork during your visit.
How Do I Access Care?
Complete a patient packet at the clinic to determine your eligibility for PRC and other services in place for Native Americans. Non-Native community members may access care using the same patient packet.
Purchased and Referred Care (PRC)
Purchased and Referred Care provides access to higher levels of care for eligible Native Americans living in our PRC Delivery Area. Ask about PRC Registration at the clinic front desk.
Current Openings
Medical Director - Full-Time
Provides leadership and oversight for all clinical services within the Tribal Health Clinic – supervising medical providers, developing policies and standards of care, and providing direct patient care as needed.
- MD or DO from an accredited institution with an active, unrestricted medical license
- Board certification in a primary care specialty (or eligibility with intent to complete)
- 3 to 5+ years clinical experience, preferably in primary care, community health, or tribal/IHS settings
- Knowledge of tribal health systems, IHS standards, CMS, HIPAA, and OSHA

Nurse Practitioner - Full-Time
Provides high-quality, culturally respectful primary care to patients of all ages – assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up – in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and behavioral health staff.
- Nevada Nurse Practitioner license and national NP certification (AANP, ANCC, or PNCB)
- DEA registration for prescribing (if required) and NPI number
- CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Immunization compliance per tribal and federal guidelines
